Short Bio: Kurt grew up in a small town with small-minded people. It was obvious to everyone who knew him that he was different. Kurt’s mother died young, but he and his father managed to make things work. Coming out hadn’t been easy, with high school bringing a new and more frightening side of people that had Kurt coming home with bruises or stains on his clothing from the mystery food inside the dumpsters. He denied being gay for a few months even though he knew he was, but he was too scared to admit it to himself, but he eventually managed to embrace his sexuality. Burt never had a problem with Kurt being gay, and although it was new and different, he never stopped loving Kurt and was still the same accepting and supportive father he had been before. The bullying that Kurt had to face during his high school years only helped fuel his determination to get out of Ohio, and after graduating, he managed to attend NYU’s Tisch. For two years Kurt studied there, but the competition was tough and fierce unlike the slow, lazy pace of his hometown in Ohio. The frustration and the need to do something that delved more quickly into fame what led to Kurt signing onto Stardom, and now he’s in it to win it.

Para Sample: Kurt shifted his iPhone so that it was balanced between his ear and his shoulder, holding up a tonal patchwork cardigan as he listened to Mercedes talk. This would go well with…

“Hold on, ‘Cedes, I’m putting you on speaker.” Kurt folded the cardigan neatly and placed it behind him on his bed, his cellphone following as he pressed the speaker phone button. “Ok, continue.”

“Boy, you don’t need Twilight-esque situations for things to get awkward between you two. I don’t mean to sound like I’m trying to suck the joy out of everything considering, but you guys just dropped the I-Love-You Bomb, what? A few days ago? And this is your guys’ first date since then.”

“So it is, but I hardly see how things will take a turn for the worst.” Kurt began to search for his stretch denim ‘stick fit’ jeans, muttering under his breath as he caught sight of a shirt that he had long since outgrown.

“Kurt, this means you guys are serious about each other. Like, serious serious. Youlove him Kurt. And he loves you.”

Kurt swallowed, breathing out quietly. “I’d like to think I know that, considering I was there for the entire exchange. And apparently, so were you. With Sam.” He smirked faintly, before it faded off into a distant look.

He did know though. He knew, for a long while now, that he was in love with Blaine. But the fact that Blaine loved him back, and that he could say it so easily - Kurt sucked in a breath, leaning against the door of his closet. It was a little ground-breaking. It caused monarch butterflies to flitter around in his stomach, enough surprise for his well-seasoned poker face to stand no chance against his emotions. And it still managed to do so every time he thought about those three small words that felt like they meant the world.

“Now don’t go changing the subject! We’re talking about you here, Kurt, not me and not Sam.”

Found it. Kurt tried for a smile as he grabbed a hold of the jeans, but all that came out was a strained movement of his lips.

Mercedes was right. He was nervous.

Dropping his arms to his side, Kurt stared at the pair of jeans like they held the answers to everything.

“I just - is everything going to be the same? I’ve always dreamed of having another boy say that to me, and mean it. And now that that boy is Blaine and he loves me …”

Kurt wasn’t sure what he was saying, wasn’t sure what he was thinking or even how he was feeling. It was confusing, a whirlwind of emotions and thoughts that left him reeling and lost. Left him wondering, where do we go from here?
